C3Logix
What is C3Logix?
C3 Logix is an iPad-based concussion assessment system that measures cognitive function, balance, and vision. It is designed to support, not replace, a full medical evaluation. C3 Logix testing can be a valuable component of a comprehensive clinical examination, but a clinical evaluation by a sports medicine professional experienced in concussion care is essential.
This allows us to track your recovery from the very first baseline test through each stage of healing.
How Does It Work?
Equipment: Users wear headphones and use triggers (hand sensors or foot mats).
Exercise: Users can perform specific movements in time with a computer-generated beat.
Feedback: The system provides immediate auditory and visual feedback to the millisecond, indicating if the movement was too fast, too slow, or perfectly on beat.
Neuroplasticity: Repeated practice (typically 15–20 sessions) promotes neuroplasticity, essentially "hard-wiring" better timing into the brain's internal clock.
Benefits of C3Logix
Cognitive Improvements: Enhances attention span, working memory, processing speed, and executive functions like planning and organization.
Motor Control: Improves balance, gait, coordination, and fine/gross motor skills.
Academic & Behavioral Gains: Supported by research to improve reading fluency, math performance, and self-regulation while reducing impulsive or aggressive behaviors.
Athletic Performance: Used by athletes to sharpen reaction times, decision-making, and overall physical precision.
