Our Team

Michael Longyear, DC, DACNB, CCSP

Dr. Mike’s passion for helping others comes from personal experience. Having been paralyzed through a traumatic football injury during his sophomore year in high school, he beat the odds and did what the doctors said was impossible.

Feeling defeated hearing that he would never walk again, he used their words as fuel to drive his rehab and he walked out of the hospital a month later. Since that time, he has dedicated himself to helping others defy the odds and never accept their new normal. In his own case, none of his doctors really had a consistent diagnosis. So he started researching his case. His passion led him to Parker University to study chiropractic, where he graduated valedictorian and continued his studies in Applied Clinical NeuroScience. Still searching for answers, he continued to study many disciplines: Chiropractic, Neurology, Psychology and Functional Medicine, just to name a few.

These disciplines have all helped him design his unique brand of health care. Before moving to Jacksonville, Dr. Longyear was the Director of the NeuroLIFE Institute at Life University where he specialized in complex neurological conditions that other health care practitioners had given up on. While there, he was also a part of research with concussion and depression. In addition to clinically treating patients and participating in research he was responsible for designing and teaching programs for doctors around the world in the cutting edge field of Applied Clinical Neuroscience and Functional Neurology.

Meaghan Longyear, DC

Dr. Meaghan Longyear’s journey into healthcare was deeply personal. She struggled with depression and anxiety for much of her early life, carrying what she describes as the sad heart behind the smile. Introduced to the medical field at a young age through her mother, a Registered Nurse, she began working in a hospital as a Nurse Assistant in high school, feeling an undeniable pull toward helping people.

After exploring Nursing, Psychology, and Law Enforcement, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, yet still felt unfulfilled. Everything shifted when she experienced NeuroEmotional Technique and realized how unresolved trauma can become stored in the nervous system, influencing emotions, behavior, and physical health. That experience redirected her life.

During chiropractic school, her passion expanded as she helped classmates process stored emotional stress while deepening her understanding of brain-body physiology. Dr. Meaghan is certified in NeuroEmotional Technique and Acupuncture, and she integrates both to support nervous system regulation, autonomic balance, and emotional processing at a physiological level. Her background in Medical Intuition, Crystal Healing, and BioGeometric Integration informs a unique clinical style that bridges structure, energy, and emotion.

Her work focuses on identifying subconscious patterns stored within the body, releasing emotional blocks, and restoring clear communication between the brain and the body so patients can experience lasting emotional and physical healing.

Dr. Daniel Reyes

Dr. Daniel Reyes is a Florida native whose path into chiropractic began through his own recovery from sports injuries in college. Experiencing firsthand how the body can heal when the nervous system is properly supported inspired him to pursue a career focused on restoring function at its source.

He is trained in Active Release Technique, a specialized soft tissue therapy that improves mobility and reduces pain by addressing dysfunctional movement patterns and tissue restriction. By improving mechanical input to the nervous system, he helps patients move more efficiently and recover more fully.

Dr. Dan is certified in NET, NeuroEmotional Technique and NAET, Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Techniques. These advanced certifications allow him to work with the neurological patterns underlying chronic stress, immune reactivity, and persistent symptoms. By addressing how emotional stress and environmental triggers are processed and stored within the nervous system, he supports regulation, adaptability, and long-term resilience.

His approach is rooted in functional neurology and patient-centered care, focusing on identifying root causes, optimizing brain-body communication, and empowering patients to take an active role in restoring balance and performance.
